There was the attendance of the University’s Vietnamese Communist Party Committee, Board of Trustees, the Trade Union, the Youth Union Standing Committee, the heads and deputy heads of faculties, the professors, associate professors, divisions and individuals and large number of staffs and students at the university
There are numerous events to mention on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teacher's Day this year: In October and November, HNUE celebrates 65 years of establishment and receives the first Independence Medal for the second time, many faculties in the school are also organized events in the year of establishment; there are 22 teachers recognized as professors and associate professors appointed today; collectives and individuals are rewarded with noble rewards. These good results are not only to recognize the devotion of the university, each division, each individual but also to keep the tradition going. However, there are still problematic issues to discuss. Notably, when sharing with school officials and students about the great meaning and task of teaching, Prof. Nguyen Van Minh - President mentioned rewards associated with responsibilities for university, ngành Giáo dục and society, especially the role of pioneers in education reform and international integration today.
At the meeting, under the authorization of the State President, Prof. Prof. Conrad offered the third class Labor Medal to two teachers: Le Quang Hung - Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Nguyen Trong Khanh - Faculty of Technical Education. In addition, 13 cadres were awarded certificates of merit by the Minister of Education and Training; 20 cadres awarded the medal for the development of education.
Meanwhile, it has been announced the decision to appoint professors and associate professors for standard teachers in 2016. This year the school have the honor of working with 01 new professor and 21 new associate professors. The specific list is as follows:
